My role was to work on the Colonial Life Client Portal, a portal for Plan Administrators to track payments and invoices, review their insurance plans, and check in on individual employees' policies.

Colonial Life's portal challenge;  when an employee approaches their Plan Administrator with questions regarding their benefits, the admin would have to call Colonial Life policyholder to request details, which is time-consuming. In addition, once the PA updates the policies, registering the changes takes 2-3 days. Thus, the goal was to create a portal that the admin would log in to and search for the employee policy details and be able to send the information to a preferred channel (text or email) to the employee. Also, the admin would be able to make updates via the portal with the changes registering instantly.
